This IS sick by the way..

The idea of the Digital Darrell stuff was NO SAMPLES or straight mash-ups - everything under the DD name had to be created from nothing ( I have made mistakes in the name use tho').

I wanted to develop my own understanding of music and sound and couldn't really do that using other peoples work so I set myself the DD challenge - Could I create something that had never been heard anywhere else and still make something dope?

Not always, no. But with some bits I make I find myself dead proud of.

As for the "Gareth Vader" and "Mean Joe Green" stuff - this was initially meant to be more mash-up/smash-up stuff.

"Button Puncher" was meant to be more harder sounding stuff ( But I found out that buttonpuncher is also one of SQUAREPUSHER's psuedonyms so dropped it - especially as Squarepusher also lives in my town - what are the chances of that eh?)

"Mr and Mrs Smith" is kinda like NP-UJM but not as ufcked, and actually with another guy who takes my bits, adds his own and gives it back to be twisted around.
