i never really liked this band because their earlier albums just seemed to silly


but persistence of time is pretty damn good

I can understand not getting into Fistful, Armed and Dangerous, and Spreading the Disease.

But Among the Living and State of Euphoria are fucking great. You should seriously give them a good listen. Among the Living is one of the best albums I own. Persistence is a great album too.

Basically you can't go wrong with anything they put out between 87 and 91.

In my opinion Persistence of Time was mixxed all fucked up. Keep it in the Closet was the only song I liked off that. Some of my old skools insist that Spreading the Disease was their Grand Puba-with Medusa being the stand out track.

For me: Among the Living was Spot On. "I am the Walking Dude", efilnikcufecin, Indians, and the rest of the CD was a trailblazer.

Randall Flagg lives on and introduces himself similar to Sympathy for the Devil

Bass Player- Dan Lilker was the fire in that stormpit and his S.O.D. and Nuclear Assault records prove so. Too bad the new NA sucks

i have them all and i still feel persistence is by far their best. the musicianship is just much better.

i still have a boner for when i saw the original line up about 2 years ago in a small venue. Belladonna still has that shit down. Hitting all the right notes at the right time.

Huge fan since about 1988, but never got to see them (never tried to see them with the John Bush guy) until 2005.

i love them because they have a wicked sense of humour about their metalness, the others don't have that.
