I have his 1st CD and for the love of God it's a Grand Slam. He's not saying he beat the devil but he stole his song and drank his beer for free. Now that's laying down the LAW!
I'd hate to see him be another star that once he's dead then everyone jumps on the bandwagon of how great he was.
Kris Kristofferson is one of the Original Outlaws of Country Music

One of the biggest laughs I ever had was being stoned, listening to "The Silver-Tongued Devil and I" for the first time.
The way he sings it:
".....(draws a deep breath)DUH SILLvertonguedDEVil an' die."

Interesting story about that song: He's saying that once he has a few drinks in him then he becomes that silver tongued devil.
A great showmanship of the introverted that once they have some social lubricants become the man about town

I don't have it.
As a matter of fact a dinosaur I work with were talking movies and I threw that one at him: Is KK a better actor or singer and he said that he's by far a better singer than actor and even told me some of his favorite movies with him. But the end result was KK was the better singer/songwriter. But he's from Kentucky so I'm sure that's a little jaded.
Did you ever see Rollover w/ Jane Fonda: About the Middle East dumping the US dollar? Things are shaping up that way with OPEC wanting the Euro instead of the North American Peso
