Hah - I don't know what there really is to say about it. I guess after hearing for years that it was useless and a remnant of evolution (which I guess it still kind of is) it was interesting to find out it did have a purpose.

i didnt read it but i read your title, so if i say something stupid forgive me.

but i heard (although i never really thought about it) that your appendix is what digests grass and stuff, you know like when we were cave manish and we ate leaves and shit, but as we evolved we needed it less and less so we can take it out now.
