Adrock hosting/Money Mark playing

At this years Gimmie Shelter on Nov 13th.
It hasn't been announced yet if the Beastie Boys will be headlining (as they did last year).
Seems that they may not be if Adrock is Hosting, but it would be cool.
Last year was the best show I've ever seen them play at. The club was so small and cozy and it was all rap.
Anyone hear anything else yet?
Tickets are 100 GA and 175 VIP this year. A big jump from last years ticket costs!

If there was ever a concert I would have loved to go to it would have been last years Gimme Shelter. They hadn't played for a while, they were in there hometown of New York, it was raining, it was a small stage, it was energetic an they were really having fun. I watch this bootleg a lot an have the audio of No Sleep Till Brooklyn an Body Movin cranked in my car always. Amazing performance.

last year's show was incredible. I'm so thankful I was able to go.

Kristen Johnston, like from 3rd Rock From the Sun? Hahaha that's random. It's be awesome if her and Adam had really crappy cheesy dialouge together.

Though the music was good I do remember the whole MC/Host thing being a bit weird. Michael Showalter up there trying to do stand up and then the slideshow of animals. All good intentions but they probably could have pulled it off better.

If I had expendable vacay days I'd make the trek just to see Mr. Perfection MC that event. Gah, last year's was my best show ever ever in my life. Sigh. Wow, and MoMark performing? Sounds fantastic! All you NY'ers better go and take pics and tell us all bouts it. K? :)

It was a memorable evening, for sure. Thank goodness Remy saved me, or I'd have missed the Beasties due to dehydration. It's been a wild year since then.

I hope that some of our NYC friends attend and give us a report on this.

on the other hand, the smart thing to do as the promoter would bill Horovitz as guest host and have a surprise performance by NYC's favorite sons...
