Lars lives in his garage and orders a real doll. He takes her bowling, on dinner dates and has arguments with her in public. I will see this film...........I bet Ryan Gosling pulls it off.

Supposedly, he does. I wouldn't bet against it.

Man, there are a bunch of movies coming down the pike that look good. (y)

You know what? When Turd created the thread about people's perception of him......I thought of this movie. Ha!

I think Gosling is making some interesting movie choices. I bet most actors would have stayed far far away from this roll.

Have you seen The Slaughter Rule? He's amazing in that.

I mean, he's always good, but here's a movie where he gets to play opposite David Morse for most of the screen time. They're fantastic in it.

I have not seen that film. I just looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes. I will put it on my rental list. Thanks for the heads up.

That's the first thing I ever saw him in. A friend had seen it at a film festival and made me watch it. Parts of it are pretty fucking icky,
but it's really well done, and I was like, "Who is this Gosling kid!?" It was like when I first saw Damon in Courage Under Fire -- who is
this guy!? (y)

I saw the United States of Leland over the weekend, it was crap but Gosling was great...per usual.

Ryan Gosling is very attractive. I would like to touch his body.

I saw the trailer and it looks sorta ehhh, but I like that one dude from All the Real Girls who plays his brother. Paul Schneider. weird, he's in two movies with "real" and "girl" in the title.

omg. I will probably watch it.
