So I watched the Vh1 Hip Hop Honors last night

It was pretty good. I don't know why Nick Cannon was performing a Whodini song, but at least he knew the fucking words. Lupe fucked up performing "Electric Relaxation" by Tribe and I don't think Busta Rhymes did anything but scream and kick his fucking leg when doing his "Scenario" verse. I think I might've heard him yell "RAWR RAWR LIKE A DUNGEON DRAGON!" but that's about it. Didn't even really sound like his mic was on. At least Common and Pharrell knew what the hell they were doing.

All in all, it was pretty decent. Hopefully Tracy Morgan won't be back next year and maybe Chris Rock could host (I forget who he introduced but hell, he'd probably host it). It was cool to see Tribe perform "Award Tour" to close out the show, probably the best way it could end. If only they would reunite because The Love Movement simply cannot be their last album. They can't end it with that one.

You also forgot to mention he was dressed like the fresh prince. We wont get it on vh1 for sometime so I've downloaded the snoop tribute and the tribe tribute.

Was it "T-pain" who does the first track on the snoop tribute? I really have no clue who that was.

I didn't get to see it, wasn't interested in it too much but I'll probably watch it some time.

A DJ on the radio was talking about how EPMD were mad that they haven't been honored yet and the group said they're "being overlooked."
