Wow the studio songs have some serious changes in sound to them, a bit more crunchy/electronic, mellower, interesting drum sequencing, and I hearing some Eraser influence on this album as well....but happily accepted

anyways, it is here and I must get my hands on that disc box now

yeah it wipes the floor with hail to the thief... even if it doesn't have a song as amazing or instantly memorable as "2+2=5" or "wolf at the door." really great stuff. extremely melodic. love it.

I've only heard it twice on the radio. The first atmospheric song (say around track 4-5) is great. I really like the whole album. Fucking impressed, actually. I haven't liked anything since OK Computer.

got it early this morning and haven't had time to really dive in cuz of school.

but what I have heard is so great.

"Bodysnatchers" is the jam. and "All I Need" is great.

I ordered the discbox so there's still 7 songs coming!

definitely listen to this with your favorite pair of headphones

Videotape is a shocking change, love the break in weird fish/arpeggi

After listening to the lyrics much more closely it sounds as if this is a Dear John to the Recording Industry...House of Cards strikes me especially

Let's see, In Rainbows = a pot of gold for the fans

Gotta love it, for the reasons I gave in the other thread, I'm now having to download a torrent of this :\

Good record, I think.

I might listen to this one more than any other of my Radiohead records, aside from Kid A.

I wonder how the tracks not included with the download turned out, can't wait to hear them.

I like it. I've gone off Radiohead post Kid A, but this is quite the comeback.

I've never 'gone off' Radiohead since '97. I love pretty much everything they've done. I only just got home from work so am listening for the fist time at the moment and I am liking it very very very much. I'm guessing I'll like it even more after a couple of listens. It sounds like they ditched the weirdie electronic noise and have gone for more traditional instrumentations. The songs are far more melodic. And Thoms voice sounds very clear. <3

I got it via a torrent download, but I'll be ordering the discbox as soon as I can get my mother to lend me her creditcard. I've bought the Special Edition versions of the past 3 albums, so I MUST have this.
