I just tried to submit some original artwork to the Beastie Boys, asking nothing but that they atleast VIEW IT ... I'm giving it to them, if their interested, FREE AND CLEAR! Again, I WANT NOTHING FROM THEM!

I got some bullshit message back from Oscilloscope about swimwear?! M'Fuckahs, Please?! And you wonder why Meth's dissing 'em? This shit's like Eminem attacking Triumph the Insult ComicDog -- just stupid and unnecessary! Reject me, ignore me, but please don't 'gaslight me!'

maybe your original artwork was really bad....or maybe the Beastie Boys hate you....or maybe we all hate you....maybe the world is against you and there's nothing you can do about it

you know, proper swimwear is a must when quarrys are involved but... on a more serious note maybe your submission of this artwork was to the wrong adress or thru inappropriate channels maybe try getting an email to minton or one of the other administrators here is your best course of action...besides everyone knows meth and red are half rate cheech and chongs at best:D

I guarantee it was an automatic message. The problem is that if high profile companies or artists like the Beastie Boys even acknowledge receiving other people's artwork it opens them up to frivolous lawsuits for copyright infringement. Every movie studio I've ever come into contact with refuses to open unsolicited idea submissions for this very reason. It's policy, not personal.
