This isn't the hottest news ever but there isn't really a thread about it yet. Jay-Z and Nas' new songs- what do you think?

It looks like both are having a resurgence in form, I'm actually starting to get pretty hyped about American Gangster now. Like Jigga said he's getting back on some Reasonable Doubt shit flow and swagger-wise. And Nas is still coming with that same morality tale deep jazzy shit, but he does it so well.

Surviving the Times is Nas on auto-pilot. He could make a song like that in his sleep. Boring.

Like I said, it's the same old shit, but he's pretty good at it. Not an amazing song, but good.

You left out Dead Presidents 3. But you could always start a new thread for it when you hear it, I suppose.

^^I heard the clip. He's really gone back. It's pretty good.

I was gonna include it actually but I thought the short clip with that chump shouting all over it wasn't really worth it. But yeah that should be a good song too, it's probably not on the album though.
