View Full Version : Hi everyone!!! Did any of you get to check out Oktoberfest?

I was there last weekend and it was a blast as usual! It was my 3rd trip there. The thing that was different about this trip was that we didn't have tent reservations so we basically winged it and it was great because we met so many more people than we would have otherwise! Also I stayed at this place called "the tent". It's this kinda camp ground place with travellers from all over the world just passing through and partying. I think I want to go back there next summer! How was everyone's summer?

Yup.

It was a 6 hour train ride from Desenzano to Munich. I was going to drive but, I knew I would be too hungover on the day I was supposed to leave:D

You shoulda told me, I have a contact for a Hofbräuzelt table. I went there 6 times, 2 times on company expenses. (y)

Umm I didn't go this year cus you and Ju forgot to invite me....just cus I"m deployed you think that means I can't do stuff....or you're trying to turn our trio into a duo???:eek:

there's about 4000 better beerfests in Germany. cool that you had a good time. a few friends of mine were there. loads of photos of them without a German in sight.

there's about 4000 better beerfests in Germany. cool that you had a good time. a few friends of mine were there. loads of photos of them without a German in sight.

Yeah I lived in Germany for 4 years. I know there are a bunch but, there is something really special about Oktoberfest.

yeah, the traditional wear in bavaria and austria is very similar
i dont even know if theres a real difference between them and us

God I hope not... I hate the south... well... actually Louisiana is where we keep the French Quarter so maybe.
