I saw it today. Not a bad little film.
Pretty gruesome but I don't mind that in a movie. I was expecting a sort of New Zealand version of Shaun of the Dead, but they definitely went a bit more towards the horror than the comedy. Still very funny in places.
Although they had the Cronenberg-esque raw gore factor going on and I appreciated the absurdity of it, there were moments where they overstepped the line. The whole biting off of the dick near the end was just uncalled for, and a few of the lingering close-ups on chewed up throats seemed slightly unnecessary.
My girlfriend isn't too good with "scary" films at the best of times so she was practically screaming, looking away and grabbing at me the whole time. She has actually developed a phobia of sheep now which is probably a testament to the movie makers.
Anyway, if you're bored and want some ridiculous gore then I'd definitely recommend it. (y)
PS
WTF am I doing it's like 4:15am here. :(
