I alway's find it morbidly interesting when I here news of an execution and the article discusses what the condemned ordered for their last meal....what would your last meal be?....assuming of course you could even physically eat....I think I might have southern fried chicken and mashed potatoes....and then promptly throw them up....you can order whatever ya like, what'll it be?

Like you said -- assuming I could eat:

My favorite sushi chef Wallace would be in charge. I might request a couple of specific things, but I'd probably do what I often did, and just said,
"Feed me." The guy's an artist, and he might even know how to do a meal appropriate for the occasion.

Sushi,eh?....interesting choice....I'm going with a "comfort food" notion,myself.....but I'm always game for unagi....gyoza and yam tempura bring me solid solace though.....you want to see the priest before or after your meal?...it would be nice if you got to eat it with someone....

My minister and Wallace would hopefully both be eating with me.

What the hell -- I'm going to a better place. (y)

i think i'd have to go with thanksgiving food. a nice turkey (i'd quit veggie for the rest of my life) and some awesome stuffing. sweet potatoes with marshmallows, vanilla and brown sugar. corn. and some pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

i'd also get momma to make me a chocolate eclair pie and i'd eat the whole thing.

Mmm sushi would be great.

Id slam some maki rolls.
maybe pick from a plate of chicken teriyaki, some miso soup, and hopefully a perfect sunomono salad
then Id move onto bacon. like a whole plate
perhaps with some cheesy scrambled eggs and some sourdough toast with peanut butter and crabapple jelly on it.
Id probably be getting pretty full by this point but some bbq'd steak and corn on the cob would be nice
OH! and some garden fresh tomotoe pieces and cucumber with some onion slices in just some vinegar and salt, pepper.
for dessert Id like a perfect creme brulee and a slab of pumpkin pie with a side plate full of whipped cream.

Hmm i wish Id left some room in there for some pub-tastic dry ribs with about 7 lemon wedges sqeezed over them.

thx.

...you'd definitely want to make sure it was all food that you were familiar with. It would really suck to try something new and realize you
were missing out on, say, fried Snickers bars all your life, and now you'd never have another one again.

Philip Workman: He declined a special meal for himself, but he asked for a large vegetarian pizza to be given to a homeless person in Nashville, Tennessee. This request was denied.
