Just updated firefox and its gone weird

Its stolen all the options and bookmarks. Even shortcuts don't work. All I have is homepage, refresh, the stop button and the google search bar.

This is not a good update!

edit: its still better than IE tho

This happened to me, I found out that during the upgrade one of the files became corrupted. I can't remember which one it was.

Do some research, its a 5 second fix

Oh I deleted the update and re-did it.

My OS is Fedora 7 in which there is an option you can revert back to the last previous update of your system and re-do. I'm guessing it was slightly corrupted someway as the 2nd time was fine. I'm not sure if you can do that in windows?

sometimes when firefox closes in the middle of loading something or get shut down wrong, it messes up the profiles and creates a new one when you start it up again

Firefox tells me there's no compatible Google search bar when I update. :confused:
