I'll take Arular anyday,so much so I find Kala quite lame in comparison.....

You see, I'm favouring Kala. I love Arular, but I was so used to Piracy Funds Terrorism that the official release sounded a little empty.

Having said that, the Australian song on Kala is fucking awful.

Kala ftw. It's so much fuller. But they're both great.

Though I find that Timbaland track on Kala to be lame as shit.

I'm seeing her live / meeting her next weekend.

both albums are far from perfect. Diplo's remix of Arular was a lot better than the original. Kala is kinda patchy but has some huge tracks; Down River, Bird Flu, Hussel, Boyz...

For some reason I had never heard of M.I.A. until I saw her live this weekend at Vegoose. One of the best sets of the festival.

god i can't decide. i've been a big fan for quite awhile. i will say Bamboo Banga is one of my all time favorite songs. i'm surprised no one else has mentioned it.

i HATE how short the new album is. i think by default Aurlar wins b/c it has more songs.

timbaland = overrated
really bad track, ridiculous. . .
that said, i like it, but i enjoyed the drum machine sounds of arular much more. this one seems lazy almost. Havent heard too much yet though, just got it. . . ill update views later.
