I heard that Tony Hawks shit edges out Skate by a tad bit. By the previews I have seen, I don't see it.

i've only tried to skate demo. the tricks are far more technically hard. that's a good thing though. tony hawk is getting too easy with being able to fly through the air. but the actually storylines and missions may be better in tony hawk.

remember in the older tony hawk games you could enable like a realism mode?

it made the ticks much harder. you couldn't ollie nearly as high or far and your ballance was lessened and it made grinding a simple rail with a combo a whole lot more difficult. you couldn't spin as fast either and you had to be more dead on when landing in order not to bail.

anyone remember skate and destroy? hard as hell but once you got the hang of the mechanics much more satisfying and mroe realistic than TH.

Skate and Destroy was a laugh when you crashed and your body flopped about like a rag doll

Plus it has Award Tour on the sound track

Plus the guard would taze you.

I'm getting bored playing randoms at spot battle. They either do the annoying "4 laser flips in a row to fill the multiplyer" or just leave the game cause I'm beating them. I'm not even that good at it.

I don't really remember Skate and Destroy but I think I remember Skate or Die, or were those the same?

720 degree's was my favourite old skating game. That cabinet was wonderful with it's funny joystick. I remember getting big air on the half pipe used to get audible gasps from people watching.

There was an old skating game here called Thrasher (which I think might have been skate and destroy elsewhere) that was cool too.

You could play as Fabolous in NBA Live 2003, but I don't know why you would want to.
