Salami is clearly the superior meat. Bologna is basically just a flattened out hot-dog.

funny this thread was made tonight. during my entire class this evening i was like "maaaan. i really want a salami sandwhich right now" and was thinking about it the whole time, after school i went to the grocery store and all they had was bolongna, so i bought that. it really didn't do the trick. salami wins.
and yeah bologna is essentially a flat, cold hot dog
bologna should not be mentioned, ever

Good spicy chorizo
Fresh warm bread with mortadella
Salami Milano
I could spend a fortune at a good deli counter

i think salami is only good as an addition to a sandwich. it's just too much by itself.

I used to go over to a friend's house when I was young. His mom would fry bologna. I think she was an alien or had just gotten out of jail.

or black?

RACIAL JOKE!
Anybody who votes for bologna is a freak.

My friend was black. His mom would butter bread and fry the bread next to the bologna. She would also fry some onions and put some velvetta cheese on the bologna. I did not know what to think since I had never had fried bologna. I can remember that I did not like it much but it was not horrible. I would never embarrass a friend and say I would not eat something. He remained a good friend thru High School and when I visit town (not often) I look him up. I remember eating chitlins and collard greens for the 1st time at his house.
She could cook and my friend loved his fried bologna sandwiches.
I bet when he would come over for lunch or dinner at my house he thought my mom's casserole dishes or something she made was weird. It is funny how as kids your food choices are made and they stick with you throughout adulthood.

i remember having a black friend over and we were having corned beef, potatoes and cabbage. he had no fucking clue what it was and didn't seem to thrilled about it and seemed a little scared. then he saw some onions with cloves shoved into them and freaked out over that. WHAT'S WRONG WIHT THESE ONIONS?????
"how do you corn, beef?"
"what is corning beef?"
one time he came over for a cook out. he was wearing a doo-rag and my family is just as obnoxious and jackassed as me. they were all making wise cracks about him being the pirate from the hood and he was looking around all like... THIS IS NORMAL SHIT DOO RAGS ARE NORMAL SHIT WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.
where are you justin? you were fun shit.
Yep, things like that happen everyday. Kids are exposed to totally different cultures and ways of life. I think it is great. My friend was Mario. When we were in High School he would invite me to spend the night and we would go to house parties. Someone in his neighborhood would have a party. It would be in a basement usually with a light bulb hanging from the ceiling and a couch in the corner. I was the white spot in the crowd but I got along with all the guys and the gals loved to get me on the dance floor. Wow, that is sooo long ago. I can still see it and hear Grandmaster Flash, Doug E Fresh and on and on.
Now, Mario is a dad with 3 kids. I need to give him a ring now that I am back in Virginia even though he is still 2 hours away in my old hometown.
