Think about it, eh? Most of the laws in the states, what state is that one that passed the, "it's legal to beat your wife once a month with a stick, as long as it's no bigger than your thumb" law?

One prime example of thinking fast and acting fast, without taking the time to think slowly about it. And the results, a one sided law. Leanin in favor of the men.

So wtf? The ladies are just supposed to obide to these laws and sit at the bar at the end of the month during ladies night and compare battle scars and act like nothing ever happened, and won't ever happen again?

Just think about it. Almost everything in day to day life events. Drama filled and life threatening, and or, fatal events could be avoided if you slow down that grey matter down a couple of notches.

One thing that got me thinking, being that my Mrs. is a journalist and all, one of her stories was a young Chinese man that immigrated to NY to work for a construction company, leaving his wife and kids waiting for him in china while they were waiting for their visa process to clear so that they can move to the states to meet with him and all live together.

Well, respectfully of the father for trying to go that extra mile to earn a few more duckets for his family's stateside arrival. He took a job offer in which included some ladders in wet, stormy and windy conditions.

He climbed the wet aluminum ladder while wearing a pair of rubber boots. He climbed up to about thirty feet. Slipped and lost footing and he fell. His head hit a fire hydrant that was below the ladder and he then died a half of an hour later.
