for real though, for as many movies as you would like to see sequels for, aren't there a few that you want to remain untouched? what about ones that have had sequels and they were so bad you wish they hadn't even gone there?
I hope they never make a sequel to:
Grosse Pointe Blank ( I kept coming across articles that said a sequel was in production but it's yet to see the light of day. I hope it doesn't exhist)

Obviously they're making a sequel, but I hope something really tragic happens to Michael Bay or that little dickhead that starred in Transformers before they can finish making another one. The only thing that could have retarded the first one any further would have been a robot love scene or something.

I just heard something on the radio about a book that is about Rhett Butler that takes place after the movie ends. I think its a new book...dunno though.

yeah it would have to be since Margret Mithcel has been six feet under for quite some time. and Margret was adament thatn she would not write a sequel, despite being pestered for years by fans to do so. SHe is quoted as having said something to the effect that she honestly didn't know what happened to Scarlet and Rhett and she was quite satisfied with how she ended the book. it was up to the fans to use thier own imaginations and decide if Scarlet got Rhett back or not.
despite that...once the copyrights started to expire...OTHER authors started writing thier bastardizations of the story. there was one book called "Scarlet" that came out in the 90's. it was awful and they made a mini series of it I beleive. this is the first I've heard of a Rhett book coming out, but I'm not surprised. it's just a shame. I don't understand any author that has the gaul to think they can write a sequel to someone else's book!

are you serious? french connection 2 was really, really, good, one of hackman's best performances - the withdrawl scenes were so intense. even jaws 2 and young guns 2 were very decent sequels, but highlander in general is just outright cheese.

I guess you didn't see my oh so subtle sarcasm.
For the record I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies.
And Police Academy 3 is by far my favourite PA movie.

All Star Wars are good, especially compared to the prequels.

CADDYSHACK!!!! Caddyshack 2 was a waste of sperm. The original, still a timeless great.
Can I say that Spies Like Us should have a sequel as well as Gung Ho.
