Has Myspace ruined your life?

So I know this girl. and today she's whining that she's not going to be on Myspace anymore 'cause it ruined her life. Which I think is sillyness. she ruined her own life...

Myspace didn't force her to start seeing someone else while she was still living with her boyfriend (now ex). Myspace didn't force her to decided she wanted her old boyfriend back after she moved out and started shaking up with this other guy. and Myspace didn't tell her to create two separate profiles to decieve both men.

well obviously her old boyfriend who was considering taking her back, has seen her other profile and changed his mind. But it's MYSPACE that ruined her life.

someone I know has said that myspace ruins lives. simply because they had friends that would bitch and moan and get angry for not being in the top friends.

I pretty much said that if their friends get that butthurt about it, you're probably better off without those friends anyway.

I guess what gets me here is how often people are unwilling to take any responsibility for their actions and they look to blame anything/anyone but themselves.

I grew bored of it and also became tired of drama with the 'friends'. But I miss putting stuff up for public forum, sharing stuff about myself, etc. Thus my website idea. I'm sure I'll grow bored of that too. One step at a time.

Yeah, that would make sense. The thing is almost anybody thats a friend or acquaintance of mine that has a myspace are ones who are more dramatic or interested in gossip. This does not apply to everyone obviuosly. I'm sure once these people are older this is less of a problem. Or maybe I do not know what I'm taling about.

A couple of weeks ago I ,made a facebook account, Something I thought would not happen. To be honest most people I would actually want to get in contact with are not registered. I'm not going to waste my time talking with people i don't really care about that much. Maybe when I'm older.

I guess I'm just not into it and want to make excusess to stay away.;)
