Seems like Raekwon is set on kicking him out. (http://www.sohh.com/articles/article.php/12958)

Click on the link for the full story, but according to Raekwon it seems no one except RZA is happy with the guitar-heavy sound 8 Diagrams has and RZA refuses to change anything. Apparently the album is already over budget and it's hitting the streets as is, but Raekwon suggest there could be an upcoming Wu album called Shaolin vs Wu-Tang minus the RZA.

Whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen and Raekwon could just be talking out of his ass, but who knows. The link has more info.

This thread title doesn't make sense. The Abbott IS Wu-Tang, there's no Clan without him.

The interview is interesting but it's basically just Rae calling him out in public, he's just using bitchy tactics to try to get him to change up the album.

No one's leaving anything.

"It aint to the point that the crew is breaking up, you know, he's the ABBOTT, nah mean?"

So everyone but RZA hates the way the album sounds,...I can't wait to hear it. I'm sure it'll do more than 50 & Kanye combined.

Wu Tang needs to stop ruining their reputation and retire because nobody's buying it anymore, they fell off.

They fell off? Did you hear 4:21 and Fischscale?

Ghost is on another level and shouldn't waste his time with Clan shit anymore. Fishscale is a classic. Ghost is the only one who can release an album on time anymore.
I'm so over the whole "Wu-Tang album being delayed" bullshit that seems to be the norm with all of them. I saw them in February of '06 and they were reppin' OB4CL2 back then, and I'm still waiting for that shit to drop! It's an absolute joke with them anymore. Their whole game has gotten lazy and disjointed.

I wasn't impressed with 4:21.

4:21 and fishscale were good?

421 was mostly bad. fishscale had some good songs, but wasnt super or anything.

rza has been dissapointing me for years now. but the stuff ive heard so far doesnt sound too bad. well see. i can see wu tang without rza. i think he feels he is bigger than wu tang. i dont know how i feel about that.

Here's a pic I took of RZA wearing a OB4CL2 shirt at that show. I thought I had a pic of the OB4CL2 Van that was outside the venue, but I can't find it.

Cuban Linx 2 hasnt seen the light of day because Rae made the mistake of thinking Aftermath would drop it the week after signing. It'll probably come out shortly after Detox and the NWA reunion album.

Yep...just look at Rakim's album let Eve's and Busta's before it finally dropped almost 4 or so years later

And Wu-Tang might not be as good as they were but they still making good music. The tracks I heard on the mixtape off the 8 Diagrams sound nice inclduing the ODB dedication song "Life Changes"

Plus everyone knows that Raekwon talks out his ass non-stop....for an example just look at Auton's quote.

Also agreed. Raekwon has a habit of doing that as well as contridicting himself in the same interview, I remember seeing an interview with him on MTV talking mess about ODB (with ODB basically saying fuck him in a later interview for his reality show that was canceled cause of his death).

And come on the Wu without RZA is upsurd....him, GZA, and ODB started that shit. I also highly doubt that the GZA would let that happen as well, thats his family right there. Without RZA, OB4CL would not be held in the regard it is held in either. Raekwon owes RZA more then RZA owes Raekwon...I mean basically Rae has had the "Illmatic" type curse ever since OB4CL, he went from being hailed as the next coming of Kool G Rap to rapping like he half asleep all the time. Not to mention that in the begining him and Ghost were pretty equal in terms of lyrical skill (think 36 Chambers and some songs off OB4CL) and now there is no comparsion between the two.

And I don't mind the RZA trying new stuff as long as it sounds good...I mean Rae might not like it but that doesnt mean us as fans wont be feeling it....its for the fans to decide if it's good or not. Also what did Rae expect though the past years RZA has been doing movie scores and shit...I mean you could see where his prodcution was heading with Wu-Tang Forever. It's all about growth, you can't stay stagnate in one style (thus Rae's problem). I could understand money issues and shit, but dont let it get in the way of us getting the music if it's good. You would think ODB's death would educate these dudes on how short life is to be fighting over shit like this.

4:21 was a load of balls

RZA needs to go away and do that one fantastic solo album he's capable of.

I love Wu-Tang and all, but half their members are complete assholes these days.

4:21 isn't complete shit, it's just not the third coming people hoped for (SC being the second). Yeah there's some balls on there, but Presidential MC, 4:20, Say, Walk On and Somebody Done Fucked up are pretty tight. And even the intro is fire, and a couple others I'm forgetting. Its' a good joint, man. Just faaaaaar from perfect.
