How is it in terms of gameplay? Does it feel like Super Mario 64 or something entirely new?

I've heard it improves on Super Mario 64. The new costumes look fun, like the bee costume. It drops tomorrow in all stores, but some stores have gotten it in early.

Mario 64 is my favorite game of all-time...Sunshine was excellent too. So I had high hopes that Galaxy would harken back to 64...and it does. Just like Mio said...it builds on it. Alot of the same moves are there too...you'll feel instantly comfortable if you played Mario 64 or Sunshine.

Oh yeah...the bee suit is by far the coolest.

Man, now I'm starting to re-think my decisions. My buddy let me pick any game for the Wii that I wanted for my birthday and I got Manhunt 2, but I was thinking about Super Mario Galaxy as well... Needless to say, I picked Manhunt 2.

It's really scary (for me) to play. I don't know why, but it freaks me out, man. At least if I would have gotten Super Mario Galaxy I would have a game I could stand to play at night as well as in the middle of the day...
