Kind of odd that it turns up in two competing music games within like a month, but whatever. Rock Band is a game by the original developers of Guitar Hero (3 was done by a different team) that has a focus on multiplayer with a guitarist,a bassist, a singer, and a drummer all playing together. It will be expensive but it will probably sell amazingly anyways.

guitar hero 1 and 2 were developed by harmonix, guitar 3 was developed by neversoft. harmonix is now making rock band, which is very similar to two games they made before for the ps2: frequency and amplitude. those used the controls instead of replica instruments though.

I actually want guitar hero for christmas, though. My friend got me addicted. I just think it's funny 'cause it's for losers like me that don't know how to play a real guitar. Or dance, I own DDR too, thanks to my friends again.
