longest relationship ever!

well, it's working out. who'd a thunk it? almost 8 months now of dating the same person. 7 months is my record, and even then it was pretty much over around the 5 month mark.

here are the things I have learned:

the incidence of farting increases 10 fold after 6 months.

my cool guitar-playing hot shot of a boyfriend is secretly a huge dork who collects designer toys and plays video games with dwarves and elves.

I'm bad at massages.

When allowed to do accents and different voices without being ridiculed, I will speak like that more often than in my real voice.

I want to settle down and make a home. :o

I'm not doing it anytime soon. I have 9 months left on my lease. also, I might want to live alone after that. I'm just saying, this is the first time I've considered figuring someone else into my life for the long haul.


no, 8 months breezed by. I just got an email from my friend about his annual christmas party and I seriously feel like I just went to it the other day, but it was last year. I'm saying 8 months is the longest I ever dated anyone. usually I start hating people around 3-4 months.

Heather and I just had some friends over to celebrate five years for us. Our relationships seems like it started yesterday too. She was some 600 miles away for two of those years, but still five years is the longest by far. I think the previous longest was a two year relationship (that had break ups every few months). Heather and I don't really do much in the way of break ups.

i'm a massage therapist so i give the best massages, of course i end up digging for knots and that's when the good massage turns horribly... clinical.

i've actually taught my husboo some moves so i can get a good massage. now i know when he's feeling lazy b/c he just forgets all his "training" and does what he wants.

Plus, I went to the University Health Centre today and they saw me and gave me meds and stuff were like "Thanks, call if you have any questions or concerns." and I just kinda paused and was like "So, uh...that's it?
