Electricity companies trying to convert me

I wish they would all just fuck off and not bother me when i've just got home from work and am chilling on the couch and they just keep fucking persisting even after you say not interested. I try to cut the bs and say "So you're here to get me to change over to you?" and they're like "No no no (indian) this is not about changing, there is no change for you, you will just recieve your bills from us" - "I'm not interested in changing. I'm happy with my power company. To be honest I don't give a damn which company it is but I'm not changing to you" - "If you don't care then why not change over" - "So now you do want me to change over to you?" - "No there is no change of power provider, the power comes from ETSA and we do the billing." - "Yeah not interested. Bye."

Tonight I actually let her blather on for a long time, I figured I'd let her do her speil, waste some of her time and maybe spare one or 2 others the annoyance. Then just turn around and say not interested, bye. I don't know who makes these decisions that they're going to impose on our time and privacy to sell their shit but I hope they rot in some kind of fecal matter.

I had a spate of indian doorknockers asking me if I wanted to change gas companies. i kept on saying no until one of them offered a free year long magazine subscription with it, so i said yes. had to go thru all the paperwork right there and then standing at the door, then he put me on the phone with some chick on the other end to confirm everything.

3 months later the same guy knocks on my door. asks me if i want to change to his gas company for a free mag subscription. i tell him i already have. he tells me i havent. i get angry and show him my bill from said supplier. he tells me i need to sign up again to keep my subscription. i ask him why on earth would i have to do that, im already signed up, and will he fuck off!

he insists that we go thru all the paperwork again. I'm high at the time so i humor him and go along. after 10 mins he puts me on the phone with office chick to confirm everything, again. she looks up my details and says 'wait a minute, your already a customer!! why are you signing up again?? you dont need to do this!!' i say 'thats what I keep telling this guy!!!' she says 'put him back on the phone'. I hand the phone back and he talks to her, then says 'oh... ok' then just WALKS OFF.

he didnt say 'sorry bout that' or anything. thanks for wasting 15 minutes of my time, FUCKER.

so now I dont even say anything, i either just hang up the phone or slam the door.

now im angry.

i've recently been receiving occasional phone calls (couple times a week) from some group pretending to be sprint and asking me if i want to upgrade my service

the strange thing about it is that it tells you to press a button if you do, and one if you dont. either button you push sends you to nothing.
