Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds

I need recommendations within their catalogue. I liked "Let Love In", at least parts, but I remember just briefly listening to "Lyre of Oprheus" and being bored.

If anyone is a fan - help me out?:o

I like the older stuff better, like The first born is dead, From her to eternity and Kicking against the pricks,
maybe cause they remind me so much of Birthday Party, whom I loved.
Let love in tho is one of my favourites and I do enjoy The boatman's call and
No more shall we part every now and then, Murder ballads is a bit too gloomy sometimes...
I didn't get Henry’s dream until resently so I really haven't gotten down to it yet...

Don't forget The Good Son. I agree with b-grrrlie, though. The older stuff is better. On the whole, though, the bad seeds catalogue is of pretty similar quality - very good.
