I has an ear infection

Careful now...I had one a year ago that started out as a throat infection,then spread from one ear to the other,then I lost 80% of my hearing in both ears for about 10 days….I can not tell you how much that sucked,had to pass up seeing Heavy Trash and all…..so lame…I was at a point where I had to go to a specialist and he was going to cut me and insert splints for drainage and allll that….but he encouraged me to wait and after 3 different types of antibiotics it began to dissipate…since,I have total and complete empathy for people with hearing loss….scary business…..get on the antibiotics,stat…that’s my take....(y)

I was born with a ton of ear problems and have had some ops but have never experienced an ear infection, odd. Hope it gets better soon /whisper

Yeah, mine started out as a sore throat, which I still have, and now I have a huge sinus problem and my ear is ringing...I wake up with hearing loss. My doc told me that I could wait it out and most infections clear up on their own, but just in case she gave me a prescription for amoxicillian. So...I dunno whether to fill it or not, because I don't like antibiotics (body becomes immune to them so when you reaaaaaally need them, they don't work...plus, it may interact with my birth control, who knows).

I think I want to get Dimeatapp. Them shits is delicious.
