while at work today, I opened the fridge and grabbed a carton of milk without looking at it and poured a glass and took a drink.

I was like, damn this milk is good! Read the box and it was half and half. I think I'm gonna pour me another glass.

straight milk tastes too much like cow especially the aftertaste

yeah, I haven't had that in ages.

I love a good cold glass of milk but I shouldn't be drinking it cause I'm lactose intolerant. I've got a case of bloated stomach and I've been farting all day. It smells like a nursery at my desk now.

half and half is awesome. its awesome by itself, it's awesome when poured in whole milk to make it wholer milk, its awesome in coffee, its even awesome in sweet tea. yeah, thats right, everyone scoffs at the sweet tea thing, but it's awesome, and you can suck my dick.

What do you eat in Jan?

more fish than meat
veggies
only whole grains like rice (no pasta, or bread that has processed grain)
temperate zone fruit (because it has a lower sugar content)

and like I said im gonna try and cut out milk products for about a month, plus cut out anything with processed sugar for the most part

the first week of january will be hard because there will still be lots of xmas goody leftovers around, but ill try and stick it out the best i can.

and on top of this diet cleanse im going to be brewing up some Wholy Leaf (http://innotechnutrition.com/home/products/wholy_tea/) tea

Ive done other detox supplement systems (mainly the wild rose brand, which is a really intense one) before but its too big of a hassle taking all the little drops and pills everyday, so this tea thing seems like it will be easier.
I only have to brew and then steep it over night once a week and that gallon or so of tea will last me for the whole week once i put it in the fridge.

i always think about doing a detox but i end up not doing it cause i dont like taking pills and/or drinking bitter teas. and i really love sugar. :(

i admire your abilities, miss a!

thats awesome, does it work?

if i were on the purification tip, id want to do it periodically throughout the year as well i think. the more often you change the oil in your car, the better. im positive we're exactly like cars.

my version of detox is eating only fruits, veggies, teas (lots) and some minimally prepared lean meat every so often for a week. i dunno if that does anything, but i like to think it does

I just do the intense one every january because I eat and drink so much crap I normally dont during the holidays. like Ill literally eat a 2 pound hunk of extra old aged white cheddar in a matter of days.

I already take a detox supplement (http://ca.genuinehealth.com/english/pbn/index.php?id=38&section=159) everyday plus trying to eat pretty dang healthy. but this once a year things is definately a "cleaning house" type affair.
