theres a moose in my hoose. ideally, i would like to catch it and release it outside. id prefer to keep my distance on account of rabies/bubonic plaug/etc.

I have a shoebox and some peanut butter. Now... help me figure out how to implement these things

1. cut a hole in the box
2. JESUS GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER
3. peanut butter in box
4. wait
5. wait
6. mousie goes in. cover hole with something
7. drive to a nice scenic mouse habitat, like a nearby cornfield. byebye little mousie

anything better? this seems inefficient.

Well if you spend your time trying to catch these mice they will reproduce and more will probably come in to your living area. I do not know where you live but if its getting colder outside more will come in. I would trap them(kill them) before you have mouse shit all over you place and nest.

You can make some crazy thing where when the mouse enters the shoe box and eats the peanut butter it triggers the door to shut?

You can get those sticky traps that when the mouse sticks to the stuff when it trys to eat the food. The mice die because they get trapped and cannot go anywhere. So as long as you check it every once in a while you could release the mouse before it dies. Just wear thick gloves if it scares you.

i'm at my dad's. he seems pretty indifferent, there's already mouse shit everywhere, like in the pantry. i told him i saw one crawling around in the cabinet with the pots and pans so that he might want to wash those before he uses any. im sure he'll forget. he told me there should be some traps in the house, but now where they would be. meh, whatever, i go back to school today anyway.

being at my dads house is kind of like living in a third world country. he smokes a lot, and every time i come hom for like the first day he smokes outside, but then he gets tired of doing that so he smokes inside and does it so much it makes me sick, so every day i wake up with my chest and airways hurting. the heat is broken. right now im siting in front of a space heater cause its 28 outside after about 3 hours of sleep because in a bizzar twist of fate my dad decided, like, actually DECIDED to stay up till 5 or something and was being noisy and then when he finally went to sleep he was snoring lots, and i could maybe deal with the snoring on its own but not the snoring and the cold and the hurting to breath. it's too uncomfortable to sleep. also, everything is completely filthy, in part because my dogs are completely filthy. i still love them to pieces and sleep with them and stuff, just, you know, around my fingernails stays dirty while im home. and i guess now the house has mice.

uuughhh grumble grumble complane it was nice to see my dad and my doggies even if sometimes i do want to strangle him in his sleep so that i can get some rest.

my mom has a nice normal apartment and she smokes outside but i much prefer the company here.

The Rebel INS. Sorry, mouses. Erm, huh? What's the problem here? Mice, or parents? Move out. Yeah, get married or something.

there's no problem, i was just wondering if there was a clever way to make an effective mouse trap out of a shoebox. and, is that a proposal?
