Er... keep working on it.

Has anyone seen Ricky Gervais' new standup? Veeery hit and miss. Some of it genuinely disgusted me, I'm sure fame is going to his head and making him more of a bigot.

I've been working on a routine and when i feel it's complete, I'm going to try to go to the Laugh Factory with it.

I have done it a few times. I've written a ton of material but I don't have the balls to go up and do it :/ . I am making a point to at least go to the next open mic though, getting up is another thing (usually it modivates me because I know my stuff is at least as good as those people).

The thing that sucks about telling people I want to be a comedian (comedy writer more like it) is that they are immediately like TELL ME A JOKE

yeah, i could see that happening a lot.

i met a guy that did amature standup stuff a lot, and he's probably one of the least funny people i've ever met. the kind of unfunny where you can tell they're trying really hard and it never, ever works. he's always say things that were supposed to be jokes and the room would just kind of fall into an awkward silence. it always made me wonder how his standup nights went.

Two woman are walking home from a night out and stop by a graveyard to have a pee.

After relieving themselves one woman takes off her knickers to wipe herself and the other woman uses a wreath

The next day the 2 woman's husbands are in the pub and one says " I'd better watch my wife. She came home last night with no knickers on!"

The other man says "You're lucky!,mine had a card wedged up her arse with the words 'We'll never forget you, from all the boys at the firestation!!!"

I'm too shy but i'd love to have a crack at writing for a comedian after spending the last five years of my life writing jokes and cartoons for greetings cards.

Ive seen people text something I just said to themselves so that they remember it/can use it somewhere else.

true story. one of them wants to be a writer someday so I should start copyrighting my funny.

i know whatcha mean heiress. a couple of my frineds started writing down quotes of me and eventually made a facebook group of it. most of it is just funny cause its weird rather than funny cause it's actually funny though. i think most of the things up there that i actually meant as jokes are racist. meh, whatever. the people love me.
