is it possible to make eggnogs for vegans with the same original taste? I can't find any info around the web.

Silk makes some that's ridiculously sweet but pretty tasty. their Pumpkin Spice seasonal flavor is better though. holy god is it better.

to be honest i never liked the stuff anyway.

here's a recipe:

I don't think I'll find silk's eggnog special anywhere in this side of the town.

thanks for the recipe though(y)

Isn't sugar vegan anyway?

not nececelery. some conventional (white) sugar is processed with bone char or something. at that point i draw the line. sometimes it's impossible to know which companies do what, so i say eh and figure it's ok. if i know for sure a company does that, i'll avoid it - for example, i don't drink guinness because i know they filter their beer with animal ingredients like eggs and isinglass. but a lot of wine is processed this way, and it's difficult to find out if a winery does, so unless i know for certain that they do i say fuck it and swig. it's impossible to be completely vegan - some public water is even treated with animal ingredients. you can only go so far, you know?
