I think it's a great, Klepto. They could lead off w/ Islands in the Stream by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

That would be nice. Real nice.

looks like food is a good one.

i really liked the original version they sampled for "to all the girls". i'd like it if they would do a sample show where they play a hip hop song and then the original that was sampled.

Then perhaps songs about death! I know that's easy, but there are a lot of nice sad songs about death...

12-05-2007, 04:27 PM

happy songs! holiday songs! songs about dogs!

yeah, did anyone mention songs about pets yet?
(I'd prefer cats though - not the musical - the pets :))

Perhaps those two themes could be combined in a non-vegan-show-theme somehow - just kidding ;)

songs about outer space!

RobMoney$
12-05-2007, 05:08 PM
Transportation would be cool.
They could do songs about trains, planes, and automobiles.
Lots of music to work with under that criteria.

RobMoney$
12-05-2007, 05:26 PM
Songs about money, with a special shout out to me.

An international show including songs about countries. Anarchy in the UK, Hendrix's national anthem,...you get the idea.

A nautical themed show, complete with Mike P sporting the Captians outfit.

how about the theme is THEMES. movie themes. superhero themes. theme songs of major social and political movements. love themes. relief pitcher entrance themes. themes is one of those words that gets weird if you repeat it a lot. the river themes. in paris.

[for the ironically impaired, that last one was not a real suggestion].

^^Hey, you're clever!! (that wasn't sarcasm, btw)(y)

I think my vote - incase we're casting votes, is for the transpo theme. This way I still get my car theme covered. I"m sure my theme wants are very important to the fellas.

I was actually thinking of Sesame Street...this song is brought to you by the letter "C".

C is for Cookie, it's good enough for me.

IzzyNYC
12-06-2007, 01:42 PM
^^^I like it. But I'd like to request the letter "I".

Also, did you catch the Theme ref in AH's bizzle report? "Got an A from Moe Dee for sticking to themes."

The theme could be about records and movies.
Playing soundtracks themes or songs from movies they like, talk about music and movies, whatever.... but just in case, you gotta play the time warp!:D

I had a dream the Beasties did a radio show where they played old WWF theme songs.

MCA talking about how big a fan he was of Shawn Michaels. Fucking weird.

I once tried to fill my iPod up with only female acts, and that wasn't as easy as it sounds. It would be funny to see how well they would do with filling a whole show with woman performers.

2. how about dead guys?? is that too dark? countless shoutouts to all the late greats... too many for me to start shouting out!!

3. how about some pioneers and influential bands of genres, now there's an idea.. you can have tons of great bands, and bring a little controversy to the table!! Bobby D, Parliament, RUN-DMC, The Descendents, Minor Threat, Ramones, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Velvet Underground, Elvis (the alive and real one, not presley), bob marley, the clash, the pogues, yup, now there's my dream week.. hope you consider it!!!!
