this is for everyone who needs a place to vent, complain, procrastinate, cry, freak out, blow of some steam, or in any way discuss finals
righ now it's the week before my exams start. thats always the worst week of the semester. i had to do this presentation that was a pretty huge deal today, and i had a test that wen pretty poorly... i have a lot due friday... and then my first exams are on tuesday, i have two of them. i called in to work to try to get someone to work for me tonight so i could get some relaxin' done after my painful test and oral exam but no luck (n)
im assuming theres plenty more of you in school that are going through similar situations right now

Yes, but i start the rush semester one week before time, so things are alright, even smooth.
All i have left to do is some reading and studying. no stress.

if finals are the most stressful thing you ever have to go through in life, then you will be a lucky person indeed.
I'm mean sure you're freaking out about it now, but when you look back you'll realize what a waste of energy it was stressing over that crap.

jesus fuckin christ i thought i'd bring up exams cause i figured a lot of you probably had some right around now. i dont need people on a message board telling me that i should study or that they're not all that bad. THANKS FOR FUCKIN TELLING ME SOMETHING I ALREADY KNOW. i thought someone might have something to discuss related to exams. they dont. so shut the fuck up and let the thread die and you wont have to look at it anymore kthnx.

sounds unbelievable, but I had yet to read freebaser's post when I wrote "nigh on"
weird, wild stuff
for my first round of law school exams, i couldn't sleep the night before, so for most of them i ended up spending more time writing the exam than i did sleeping (the exams were like 4 hours long each)
(uphill both ways)

i got a 163 and i currently go to northeastern, which is a low tier-2 school (i think it's currently ranked 83 in US news and world report). however i probably could have done better; i know i got accepted to UConn, which i later found out was a tier 1 school. i really wasn't aware of the importance of tiers and rankings at the time i applied, i just wanted to live in boston and i loved northeastern's co-op program (and i still do, though i wish i had real grades).
i can't say i fully regret it though. if i went to UConn, i'd have had to live in hartford, and fuck that. and i applied to BC (which i think is #18 or something) and i didn't get in, so i can't say i didn't try to do a little better.

I had one exam and that was on Friday - worth 45% of my grade, Organization of Information. It was pretty hard but I think I did well.
I'm one-quarter of the way to becoming a librarian, woooo!
