Anyone see Jeru live before? He is coming around here in a month or so but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go. I love a lot of his shit, but I find most hip-hop shows pretty boring. So I'm trying to figure out if its worth the hour drive and the prolly $20.

I saw him in Sheffield, UK a long time ago when the 2nd album dropped and it was the WORST show I've ever been to.

He did 4 songs before berating the sound guy, even tho HIS performance was shite - lazy, bored. The crowd got bored too and during the 5th song he basically said "fuck this" and walked off stage - not to return.

So - he may have sorted his shit out by now. If he hasn't then I would not waste your time and money.

Save it for when De La Soul come by - they DO put a good show on.

I could never get into Jeru. I got a couple of his albums and really tried to enjoy them, but his flow is boring and he kinda lacks charisma.
