Now that we’re in the season of little to no natural U.V ray’s I was wondering about foods/vegetables naturally high in vitamin D?....how do you derive your vitamin D in ya diet….maybe this should be a “Ask cosmo” thread aka resident nutritionist….;)

Oily fish such as salmon, mackerel, tuna are high in Vitamin D i believe.
I'm screwed then because i don't eat any of those...

I can dig tuna…. butI grew up in a salmon port so I can’t stand it…too much of a good thing…and mackerel….who eats mackerel?...I prefer my fish to be halibut in a ˝ inch of old english beer batter, deep fried with chip’s and malt vinegar…and tartar…and lemon…mmmmmmmm....(y)

oily fish are definitely a great source of it. most milk has it, too - they have to enrich nonfat milk with it especially because it's fat-soluble, therefore removed when the fat is taken out. vitamin A, too.
