Back in college my friend Dan was downsizing his t-shirt collection and gave me this beastie shirt..black with green lettering on back and a B&W pic of them on the front..anyone know it?
Before I moved away from NY, I tried downsizing my clothes collection (damn near IMPOSSIBLE) and stumbled upon some pretty nice gems (Tibetan Freedom Concert T and volunteer shirt (circa DC show), a Hebrew Beastie shirt (circa my trip to israel in 94..etc.)
Got me thinking how I can pretty much document my life in t-shirts...
Most recently (and as I posted), my mom went to their show in AC and got me the yellow t with the album cover on it. I cant tell ya how many compliments I get on it. Something about a nice tan and a yellow shirt...who knows...
anyone else with me on this?
just a random 10:24am, quiet at work kinda day thought.
much aloha...

If so, it's from the "Check Your Head" era. Not really a concert shirt per se, as it was readily available at the time in regular stores and what not.

You can't link on Beastiemania pics (they're so tight about their limits), but that cabin T is one of my favourites as well. Saw it the first time on a really cute young boy at Hultsfred festival, I was wearing some Beastie T as well and we sort of connected in our brief encounter. Luckily there was a skate/urban shop that could order that T for me (now this was more than 10 years ago...).
