or PWASWMA for short.
Hi, my name's mike. and I am hopeless with money. I make enough, but it just disappears.
Today, even though I am in debt to the tune of about 8 or 9 grand, I thought today was a good day to go out and buy a $2500 turntable for my stereo. Shit, even the cartridge I got for it was $700.
Why I did this, especially seeing as I already have a decent turntable, I do not know.
AAANNNDD, I just bought a case of miller chill chelada style lager.
Another 40 bucks completely wasted. Tastes like shit. WTF was I thinking.
Beer should not taste like this.
Anyone else willing to join the circle of bad money spenders?
Confidentiality assured.
i'm wasting money that's not even techincally mine. i'm on student loans, i gotta pay it all back with interest but that's not gonna happen for like a million years and by then i'll be rich and famous lawyer so i'm not too worried

hi my name is amy and i am shit with money.
i am in debt about the same amount as mike, and i went and spent $11.80 on a salad for lunch. last week i ate a $19 burger and $9 chips.
i really need to quit weed though, with the current dry season, paying $30/stick, i'm blowing about $120/week on weed.
and every single concert i go to seems to cost $130.
it's the 13th of december and i've spent four fifths of my monthly pay.

getting paid monthly SUCKS, I too am a victim of that atrocity
You need to move to adelaide. pot is roughly half to quarter of the price of other states. about 90% of all australia's weed is grown here in SA.
Here, if you get caught with a concession ticket instead of a full price ticket on the train, the fine is bigger than if you get busted with up to 10 plants in your house, no joke.
Or just move in with me, I have a room spare, I get all my weed free! Haven't paid for it in over 8 years.
But if you pay for it, about 3.5 grams costs $25.
I can hook you up.

So you have an abundance of weed, and a shortage of money...
...do you see where I'm going here Mike?

I'm not a dealer.
I used to grow pot, which was fairly lucrative. (about $20,000 every 3 months!!!)
But that ended in tears, with a home invasion by bikers and a gun put to my head with threats that they were going to rape my girlfriend.
Thus, I decided to get out of the game, and I don't regret it.
Except now I'm poor.

friend of mine experienced something similar. got a couple of knocks on the head, all his plants stolen along with his (shitty) car. gotta keep your buyers close.

im rachael and i'm shit with money
i work two part time jobs while im in school full time. not to pay for school, but to pay for things like going out to eat. this leaves me a. poor and b. fat. but i cant stop! eating food and spending money is just too pleasurable.
i also receive some student loans, but, unlike bob, i dont plan on being rich when i graduate. in fact, i'll be lucky if at this rate i even finish college.
for example, i already know for certain that i will get at least one meal tomorrow from a fast food/quick casual type eatery. and i dont feel nearly as bad about this as i should.
i managed to eat microwavable stuff in my room tonight for dinner though, thats progress yes?

yeah i'm pretty sure the weed we are getting is from SA. damn petrol costs!
i'm really disappointed in the WA bikies though. if you are going to be in organised crime, fucking do your job!!
i think the fine here for 2 plants is equal to that of not having a concession card. hmmm. before they decriminalised it i got busted, for a small amount. no fine at all, just had to speak to a counsellor for 1 hour. LOL.
oh yeah i also have 2 casual jobs. very casual. but sometimes they are all that gets me through. that and my housemates. no doubt i'd be starving if i didn't have their food scraps to eat at the end of the month.

i've been saving money on food thanks to watching lots of gordon ramsey stuff. but i seem to spend it on other shit. namely more expensive alchol. plus it doesn't help having a car that uses 22litres/100km :(

*Hi everyone!! Well, I'm the E-R-I-C to the LEE. To come and see me and you take a pee.*
Being a musician can be so damn costly. I'm always seeing shit to mess around with and it aint cheap.
I'm gettin into tiny percussion pieces and bells and other strange or ancient designed stuff.
I've got no problems managing my dough though. I've got alot in the bank that isn't to be touched till very needed. It's also goin towards my daughter's college .
We basically live off of what we both make, pay our bills such as rent and stuff first. Make a list of what we want such as my guitar equipment and whatever she wants and make sure that we can at least save 1k a month to be put in our savings.
Yeah, we aint bad off at all.

I wouldn't say i was really terrible with money, but i am an impulsive buyer and having a child is like having a purse with a hole in it. Some months i just don't know where my money goes.

If I were single, I'd be very shitty with money. I'd go out at least 4 times a week and pretty much buy anything I wanted when I wanted. In actuality, i'm very shitty with money.
I eat out wayyyyy too much. I never use coupons. I don't price compare my groceries or gasoline.
Other than that I spend very little, and contribute to my savings every month. So...I'm part shit with money, but at least I keep regular.
