i just had some for the first time today. it was pretty nifty. the store just opened up. i was their first real customer. the guy was really amazingly nice and enthusiastic. i hope he does well. i feel that he will not.

anyway, have you had it? what do you think of it? are bubble tea establishments in your area successful?

i felt kind of full after i drank/ate the whole thing.

Is this like pearl tea? I've seen it in a bunch of places, but I've never had it.

Huge in Chicago. Big street fair staple this summer. The bubbles are tapioca I was told.

did you ever have snot bubbles?

Sometimes I'll have this strange sensation in the back of my throat coming from my sinuses so I like hack it up and it's a little perfect snot bubble. It looks like a ballon. Seriously, air inside and all and when I spit them out they kinda whirl with the wind before they land.

But yeah, my wife introduced me to bubble tea and I love it.

OOH!!! I had a snot bubble last week and nearly choked on it. Luckily it came up mid-conversation with the big boss at work. We laughed. Yeah.

it's a cold, sometimes creamy drink with large dark tapioca "pearls" on the bottom. Comes with a big straw so you can suck the pearls up, they are chewy and pretty good. There's a good place here that has them, there's a honeydew one omggg so good.

I don't understand, is it tea or not? I don't want tea with 'chewy' things in it.

it comes in many different flavors...i've only seen it cold but the tapioca is giant sized and spherical... yes the honeydew is phenominal but most of the super sweet fruits are just as good...i heard mike d. enjoys the guava one...black tea, cream, and sucrose bubble style or me;)
