i have a week long vacation for christmas but i can't enjoy it. i'm moving on 12/29, i gotta worry about making plans, and i can't even really do much during the week, because i'm gonna be home, rather than here in my apartment, the place that i'm moving from. so i gotta come back, take a day to pack, and then move somehow, that's no christmas

and i gotta worry about the weather, too, what if it snows again or something. the weather's disgusting today, it's like slush was falling from the sky. it looked like snow, but it hit the ground and turned to slush, my shoes are a fright right now. if it does something like that on moving day, forget it

It seems like these days all I do is run errands, I don't know what to do with myself if I am not working, running errands, or cleaning up something.

But I do enjoy hearing my son laugh and seeing his smile when I walk into the room. It's so amazing to me still that I can write out that I have a son.

But it also feels like I have been a Dad forever, it just feel right.

I'm pretty stoked on experiencing my son's first christmas, he might not be fully aware or know how to comprehend everything just yet. But he knows something is up and has a facination with snowmen and christmas lights.
