camera phone thing computer question type stuff

i got a new cell phone that has video recording capeabilities. this is my chance to show the world how unbelivably awesome my dogs are, and to showcase jack's musical talents. only problem is, i cant figure out how/if theres a way to get the video off my phone and onto my computer.

i have a phone -> computer usb cable that it seems to only want to let me use for transferring music. the memory card has an adapter thing so that i can take the itty bitty memory card and put it in so that i can stick the memory card in something like one of those places where you can print digital photos and i think that might be the ticket, but my computer doesnt have any memory card reader slot thingies.

ive been trying the website but all i can find is like, "WHOA CHECK OUT ALL THE COOL STUFF YOU CAN DO WITH MUSIC!!! YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MUSIC, OR YOU CAN PUT ON MUSIC FROM YOU COMPUTER, OR YOU CAN DOWNLOAD RINGTONES, OR YOU CAN DOWNLOAD RINGBACK TONES!!! OMG!!!"

but if i cant make the songs i put on it from my computer my ringtones, i dont really give a fuck. hopefully i can figure out some way around that, but yeah, its got (for a phone) a really nice camera and video recorder thing, and id really like to be able to make use of it. but whats the point of it if i cant do anything with it?

See if when you plug in the USB cable you can browse your phones files and SEARCH IN THERE! Stop being stupid. I could figure it out in like a second.

i tried that already. when i plug it in and go to my computer, where it should be reading as like, an external drive, the logo comes up, and i click it and it opens up the installer for the vcast music thing. but i already installed that :confused:

also, im currently at my dads house. will be for about 3 weeks. where i have to use AOL dialup. so i cant watch any youtube stuff. i cant do a lot of things. its really irritating.

the logo was actually the cd in my computer. yah yah im retarded. i used alcohol 120% to install some bootleg stuff and it confused me cause now i have some virtual drives and things... anway, i uninstalled vcast and installed just the drivers for the phone, and its not showing up as a removable storage device

You can do 2 things:

One, buy a multi memory card reader that has a USB plug on the end. Take your memory card out of the phone and stick it in that, and use that as a removable storage device.

Or, you can do as I normally do, I bought a little Bluetooth USB dongle that I can plug into my computer, and turn on bluetooth on my phone, and transmit files wirelessly.

Either way, you are guaranteed to be a winner, just like me
