Holy crap! this is a good show.

The very first episode even got me teary. I fucking hate football, too.

This might just be better than the movie, even, since they get to spread out so much.

I'm on episode four now.

I've only seen a couple of recent episodes, it seems pretty good...but I'm not sure I like the style of the way it's shot.

Well, it's going to stay on the air. Plus season two is on DVD in a couple weeks. I hear it took a bit of a dip, but I'm excited anyway.

Apparently ABC and I are the only big fans of this show on this site.

Yeah, the pilot really suprised me; I mean, I'm a fan of the film and at first I was rather disappointed that this time the story would be fictional, not take place in Odessa and that it'll probably end up being some other teenage/sports drama; luckily I was wrong and I don't think a pilot has every touched me so emotionally at the end.
