so i am taking this survey from harris polls about the perception of alcoholic beverage corporations, and they gave me this question:

Which of the following best describes how you feel about products made by the Coors Brewing Company?

the the responses:
-I would be very proud to drink their products in public
-I would be somewhat proud to drink their products in public
-I would be somewhat embarrassed to drink their products in public
-I would be very embarrassed to drink their products in public

now, being that i think coors is the worst beer on the planet, i had to click that i would be very embarrassed. but i wonder if that will reflect on their overall public image? i really have no problems with coors other than the fact that their beer is piss poor

It's funny that no matter which option you choose, the assumption is that you would drink Coors -- just a question of whether or not
you'd do it in public.

Is this a poll that Coors commissioned?

now i am getting the same questions about budweiser, so i'm not sure who set it up.

the initial question asked me what types of alcoholic beverages i had drank in the past week. i only said beer, so i wonder if they would be asking me the same stuff about some winery

Surveys and personality tests sometimes drive me a little bonkers because I don't like being strapped down to answers.

"Well... none of these."

"Just choose whichever one's closest."

"They're all wrong."

"Just -- whatever you think of first."

"The thing I think of is 'none of these.' Can't I just leave it blank if I don't agree?"

"You have to pick one."

ARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGH

I didn't get hired by Fed Ex many years ago because of this. Flying colors until we got to the personality test, and then I could just
see it in their eyes that I was "difficult."

Does it count if the beer is not made by coors, but is distributed by coors???

Because if distribution matters then they distribute "Blue Moon" wich is verry good... Then I would have to say I would be proud of drinking a coors product in public.....

Funny, I didn't know that the brand of beer that I drink should make me feel proud or embarrassed of myself.

That's why so many Budweiser T-shirts get sold.

funny thing was that the last question they asked in the series was asking if i purchased anything like blue moon or killians.

its an odd survey because anytime they ask how likely i am to purchase their product, i say "not at all likely" and when they asked me about what types of beer i purchase, coors was not one that i selected

I should just send them the pic of me sitting in public drinking a coors light.

I'm in Changchun China, making a beer face and I still had makeup on my face cause I had just finished taking wedding pics. It was given to me by the bar maid cause she wanted to congradulate me and my wife.

It was the only American beer they had and being I'm American, she thought I'd appreciate it. I drank it, follows by 10 Tsingtaos to chase the aftertaste away.

Then again, Coors brewing company would think I would go out of my way to foreign lands and wear makeup to drink it.

When I was a kid in Indiana, Coors was illegal to sell for some reason. So we coveted it. One family would bring some back from... Colorado,
I think... once a year or so, and I'd get to taste some. Once it became legal when I was a teenager and we'd had some other beer, it was
widely regarded as pisswater, and I don't remember anybody ever making it their regular beer.

they do, I see budweiser and other brands everywhere over there. Just not at that bar.

Oddly enough, the first time I saw Pabst Blue Ribbon bottled water was in Shanghai and I've never seen such a thing in the states.

I dunno. Michael Jackson was Indiana's idea, too.

Does Coors still have a reputation for being right wing? (http://www.corporations.org/coors/)
