I'm sure all you party people have your plans set already for New Years Eve. I wanna know what they are.

Aimee & I are headed to a house party at her friends Loft in Center City Philly. It's supposed to be an '80's prom theme party and I got my Don Johnson White Blazer and I'm starting my 5 o'clock shadow today.
Around 11 we're all supposed to head over to this bar on a pier near Penn's Landing (the Beastie played next to there in Aug) on the river to watch the fireworks.

What's everone else doing?

I'm probably gonna visit my parents and sit on the couch, watch tv and eat a massive amount of 'oliebollen'.
All my friends are elsewhere. :(

Now we've got the little un, New Years is a quiet(ish) affair. This year we are heading over to my parents house for good food whilst watching Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny on TV and drinking copius amounts of champagne at midnight (y)

I'm not a fan of Champagne. I'm strictly sticking to Wine, Beer, or Vodka mixers.

Ours will be the same. Oh except we're not going to your parents' house. Little far.;)

We will probably head up to the roof of my building though shortly before midnight, as it is a good place to see fireworks since we've got a nice view of the city skyline.

You should ditch the Ham and/or the sex and come down to Philly for New Years and tell her yourself.
You can bring the Guitar Hero with you though.

We were on our way to New York last week and we drove past your town and Aimee mentioned it was the home of both you and Dwight Schrute.
Thats kinda cool and lame all at the same time.

goin to a party at my friend's house. we got a bunch of people that moved away back in town for the occasion, so it should be fun. I hope. new years is always so much pressure. :/

HOWEVER! this will be the first year I won't have a desperate plan to makeout with someone and then either fail or succeed, but still end up alone and crying around 4 a.m. aww. :(

I bought my parents a hotel room for the night and kicked em out of their home so I could throw a party (my place is too small/cant play loud music too late)

and its gonna be a potluck affair with about 4-5 other couples

im putting on a white man's sushi spread with all veggie or prawn/fake crab type rolls. I asked someone at the local japanese store how to make the hot sauce they use on the the rolls at the sushi joint they also own, so she gave me her secrets and im putting them to use.

I also baked a pumpkin cheesecake with a gingersnap cookie crust EEEEEEEEEeeeeeee

other people are brining totally random stuff like african peanut soup and a clam pasta. so we'll see the what kind of shit mix we get in our guts before the boozing starts.

should be fun. i have control of the stereo so dancing is required and we might play some card games earlier in the evening etc etc.

low key, comfortable, lots of food, people I love and good music. I couldnt ask for anything more.

We're still not sure yet. We don't want to go to bars because they're going to be overpriced and packed...so maybe boozing at my place, stumbling downtown for food and fireworks. We'll see.
