This awesome 80's hardcore band called the Happy Flowers did a song called Let's Eat the Baby (Like My Gerbils Did). It's up on their myspace page and you can download it for free. The link is http://www.myspace.com/happyflowersband. All their songs are from the point of view of a kid, like Mom I Gave the Cat Some Acid, and I Ate Something Out of the Medicine Cabinet. Unfortunately it's hard to get their records anymore but they do change the songs on their myspace page occasionally. It's just really hilarious stupid kind of stuff. A nice counterpoint for when you've been listening to lots of Leonard Cohen or Tom Waits records or whoever else you listen to when you're getting all deep and taking yourself seriously.
