ima hittin two of the boroughs this weekend

open mic in manhattan Saturday and Brooklyn Sunday.

It's going to be kind of like a full band experience for the crowd cause I've recorded myself on drums (it's a drum machine but you can't tell the difference), guitar and bass.
I'm bringing the recorder and pluggin through the phones jack and I'll be singing and playing guituur through it, with the other instruments backing it.

It's gonna sound very nice in BK cause they're system cranks. One of the songs I'll play is silver oak leaf but, I took all the pointers from kid p and rock and all. I even added some hip hop drums with some mean bass and slithering sounds to the intro.

Yep, busy weekend and I wanna start this year right.

This place called bar matchless in the burg off of manhattan ave. Excellent place and and there's alot of great artists that play there as well.

I've came in there with just my guitar and played there and they seemed to enjoy it alot. This is gonna be a whole new experience for them cause the music coming from my recorder is balanced correctly so it'll be like listening to a whole band.

You should go, bring a friend. Its always good times there.

oooo i also just got a new soundcard, new monitors, and a mixing board, as soon as they put the carpet in i can set it all up and will be able to get back to making beats. its been way too long. i'm pretty hyped.

Nope, ya haven't hears the new version yet. I haven't posted it cause there's no lyrics on it yet. When I go to bk and sing it, I'll also be recording the lyrics and after that I'll host it. I'll replace the old version with it.

Haha, that would be great if you showed up and brought mae. Not sure if you are still together, if not just come as you are.

I go by my bandname which is also my childhood nickname as Shades. Honestly, I don't want to be a one man band cause I'm not all that great at the drums but, I try my best. I'm supposed to audition for a real talented and put together band next week. If that goes good, I'm just going to sing so I can focus more on my lyrics. I may sing and play rythm guituur.
