Has anyone ever made a compilation of the Paul's Boutique samples available? I have 97 songs compiled (on 6 CDs), as sampled by the Dust Brothers. Just wondering whether something similar is floating around out there in cyberspace.

Yes, Beastiemania and paulsboutique.info were the sources for the tracklist, but finding digital versions of all these songs was another challenge altogether. The majority of these songs are not on iTunes, etc. Several songs are sourced from out-of-print vinyl albums.

I was just wondering whether anyone else had ever bothered making such a compilation. I'm going to try to put together a mix of the sampled segments of each track. That should reduce the runtime of the tracklist from 7+ hours to something more manageable.

i think i saw something like this on the hub a while back

i have a folder with "songs sampled" thats a good size and have become their own playlist on my ipud. i dont think it has all the songs from paul's boutique. 'prelude in c minor' often gets played on rainy days

Yeah, I was sharing that on the Hub for a while. It was PB & CYH sampled songs. I still have all that shit, it's a cool playlist to shuffle.
