Mike D's Malibu House?

I was watching Run's House (best reality show ever) and Run and his wife were reminiscing about the time they spent with Kid Rock in California. His wife says "Oh and remember he took us to Mike D's house in Malibu!" and she was like gasping like it was some amazing house. Anyone know about this spectacular sounding house? Mike just doesn't strike me as the type of dood who has some crazy big house.

This isn't supposed to be an episode of "Mike D's House" reality show. It's Tammy D's thing and Mike seemed like he wanted to avoid being in the shots as much as possible.

I mean he's not all up in the camera like "AWW YEAH, What up Party people, this is MIKE C of the BEASTIE BOYS!!11!LOLZ!! Check out my wifez and kidz and Phat Malibu CribZ!!!!"
He was "Mike Diamond, father & husband", trying to enjoy a day with his family while his wife was doing her cooking show thing.

Yup, I think it's time Nigo and the Boys put out a new clothing line ... for dolls. There needs to be a a few lines like: "Sunday Best", "Sleep Wear", "Frogman", "Mars Exploration", "Just Runnin' Down to the Deli to Pick up a Pastrami" (which could come with a miniture bottle of vitamin water), "Gettin' Sweaty in the Latex" and "Mission Accomplished". I'm seeing a stop motion Fashion Show on E! to promote the whole thing.

of course it's a cooking show and not about mike d. but this is the bbmb so we're gonna focus on mike d's "cameos." no harm intended to the show as a whole, i think it's well done.

Back to the thread topic, the talk of mike d's house reminded me of the article in Heeb fall/winter 2004 that I just dug up:

Heeb: Mike D is now living in Los Angeles.
Adrock: He's what they call "bi-coastal."
MCA: His place in L.A. is insane. It has tiered gardens. One time we were at his house and we tried to throw a basketball from his terrace to his swimming pool and I couldn't even throw it that far. It feels like some guy from Creed's house, not Mike D's.
Adrock: I wanted to stay in the pool house, but it was too far from the main house and I got scared. That's how large his estate it.

That is a nice house.

As far as Run's House being the best reality show ever, here is my reasoning:
Unlike almost all other reality shows there is a lesson to be learned at the end of every episode. Also, unlike other reality shows, Run's House brings in viewers without really using sex or violence. The characters are interesting, complex, and portrayed in a fair manner. These reasons, along with the occasional hip hop personality dropping by, makes for a very enjoyable show.
