i decided to do some shopping at amoeba records before school and was there for an hour before i bumped into a classmate on the way to class. "hey wanna go next door to borders to grab a magazine?" "sure" i say. we get there and bump into 5 more of our classmates who are like "dude, fucking nas was here. first we saw kelis and were like 'hey that chick looks like kelis' and then nas turns the corner." me: "what?! when was this?" "half hour ago. awesome, huh?"

no, not awesome. i've been living in fucking hollywood for 6 months and i always end up missing celebrites by one night, one hour, a walk around the corner, etc. fucking quentin tarantino at sandle ranch, brad pitt and angelina jolie, bizzy bone at the 711 next door to my school, magic johnson and janet jackson. bulllllllshiiiiiiit. only fuckin people i've seen (not counting concerts, jimmy kimmel live, movie premieres, etc) are uh...... fuckin' larry flynt and thats it. gay. i hate you hollywood. i hate your guts.

i've been at a record store on my lunchbreak during school and ?uestlove came in with one of his homies. it might have actually been another Roots member but i wasn't familiar with them at the time so.... after about 10 mins in the store, a staff member had a Roots poster and asked if he could sign it for the store.

i liked his afro. he seemed really chilled and not phased about being "famous in public".
