So...when on holiday in Ibiza last year I purchased an "Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster" watch for 60 euros. It looked pretty damn close to the real thing and even featured a proper self winding automatic movement. When I returned to the uk I compared it to the real thing and was very satisfied.

UNTIL

It started to lose time...the back started to fall off...the numerals fell off...it kept stopping...the glass cracked

Strangely, I still love it! however I do need a new one, I cannot afford to spend £2000+ on a real Omega so I was wondering if anyone has had good experience with any of the online Replica watch dealers...

Thanks

Pete :D

I bought a replica tag heur from Ibiza in 1998 from of those 'looky looky men'. After a bit of ribbing from my mates back home it found itself pushed to the back of my socks drawer at my parents and never saw the light of day until I came back from Uniin 2004.

I was moving out all of my old clothes and found it stuffed at the back of the drawer. I checked it and it still worked!

I have a 'genuine fake' Gucci watch. I think it still works but I don't wear watches anymore.

nah, I just always seemed to be running late and watches were a constant reminder of my crapness so they're banished! And the strap on my fave ever one broke and I haven't found a replacement.

Hello there too! Happy 2008 :)

Watches are nothing but jewelry. Not really needed anymore to tell time. You can get the time from just about everything else you have. So fake watches are just fake jewelry.

I don't agree. I have two watches and they are both broken (not in the time-telling capacity, but one has a pin missing from the wrist strap and the other one has lost the plate that keeps the battery from falling out) and I have been finding myself getting frustrated at not being able to tell the time just by looking at my wrist. Instead I have to dig out my phone, which isn't always convenient if I am, say, holding a bag of shopping.

I can't wear watches, or any type of jewelery for that matter. I feel claustrophobic. I dont like metal shit hanging off of me. I want to feel free, free like the birds.
