I am so happy these two are back. i don't know if any one else saw the last two shows this week, but it's pretty funny how they're handling the writers strike. it's obvious that they want to back the writers but want to be back at work as well.

The Daily Show is now calling itself "A Daily Show" until the writers come back. the mid day bumps seem to be just Stewart mumbling noises. he has no writers so he has nothing on the prompter to say! very funny, but obvious that most of the jokes on the show are written for him.

The Colbert Report is just so fucking funny anyway. you really can see that Colbert writes a lot of his stuff b/c this show hasn't changed that much. It's still obvious that he needs writers, but he can handle it. you can really see that he goes off on tangents b/c of the editing of the show. very choppy like they had to piece his randomness together to make coherent thoughts.

i <3 Stephen Colbert's hair.

anyone else a fan of these shows? it really came back right on time since futurama is off cartoon network at 11 now.

I love how, when in a pinch, Jon Stewart tosses out a kid-related joke. Like the one about the Dora bandages, or any of the other multiple Nick Jr. references. It's obvious what he's been up to over the last two months.

He hit on his old standard "otherwise known as NAMBLA" number as well...:D

I loved when he cut to do the "Word" and...well...there was no word.....and the anti-union,anti-labor montage was freakin priceless....(y)...

I am a huge fan of the Daily Show and I love Colbert but I wish he had stayed on the Daily Show. His show is alright, but I don't know, I guess I still won't accept how huge of a star he's become because I'm lame like that.

I read a review of his book which kind of summed up what I think.

"Stephen Colbert" gets tiring in long stretches, but I bet Stephen Colbert wouldn't, and I'd kind of like to see that.
